Wisdom Like a Stone is in transition.  It is currently an online magazine (of sorts) of short stories and essays.  For many of the short stories, this site is a halfway house–the stories are here temporily while they are being submitted to different literary magazines (and are password-protected to preserve their unpublished status.)  If you want access to these stories, email brent@wisdomlikeastone.com for a temporary password (after you register for the site).

When Wisdom Like a Stone grows up, it wants to be some sort of literary publication that focuses on short stories and essays that deal, in some way, with social and/or religious themes, or ideally, with the juxtaposition or intersection of social and/or religious themes. Despite its aspirations, it may never grow up. But then again, it may.
